hinge is worn and door scrapes..

Thanks for posting. Looking at your photo, it appears that you have something very similar to our 79-123 commercial door pivot. Before you get a new one, I suggest trying to adjust your current hardware.

First remove the cap screw on the bottom door pivot. With the screw removed you should be able to access the allen screw (try 3/16" size). By turning this allen screw clockwise, the door should raise up and give you enough clearance for it to stop scraping.

If you still can't get the height you need, you will have to remove the door from the frame. I recommend getting help for this (you could damage the door or the glass if you aren't careful). To remove the door you will have to take out the three screws holding the top pivot to the frame. With the door off of the frame you can access the bottom pivot pin. For this you will need an open end wrench (try 3/4" size). Turning it counter clockwise will raise the door. Be careful not to damage the door or glass and use some type of lubricant like a WD-40 to help you with the screws.
