Just the lock seems to be broken but I can't figure out which part to buy.

Hello! If all you need is the lock, I recommend our 82-238. Look over the specifications for this part and let me know if you have any questions.

Poorly phrased on my part.

The key just spins in the locks without unlocking the door.

The part you recommended works just fine manually from the inside. I'd like to open the door from the outside without walking around the house.

Oh! In that case, I recommend you take a look at the specifications for our 82-310 key lock.
