looking for part

Question

for casement window as I can no longer open and close it with the handle (the handle turns but does not engage the mechanism for the window) the info on the window frame says: NFRC100 code: HII-280-1 SPEC NFRC  MST: 280-M 006.7.14.15

I'm afraid that information doesn't tell us anything about the operator hardware. We'll need photos of the hardware in question. It sounds like the gears may have stripped out, so we'll need a photo of as much of the operator in one shot as you can show us. The less obstructed it is by the window, the better. Let me know!
