I too have a Storm King 105. I have looked at the recommended pneumatic closer #40-079. I have measured the old one, still installed on the door, and it measures 18" from door jamb to end of three sided fastener. Will the new model extend to 18"? The attached pic is an ORIGINAL replacement I found on e-bay a few years ago (I believe the diaphragm is made of leather). It now needs to be replaced. I can not find another original. Hello, We own a home which has an older pneumatic door closer installed which after many years of use has finally gone bad and is in need of replacement. The model is a Storm King 105 (silver colored) and was made by S-B Mfg. Co. Milwaukee, WI.

Hi I just need a confirmation on a dimension I have two storm king units that measure 9 1/2 inches in length. Are these units the 440 or are they some obscure one of a kind. Will the 440 replacements with the 9 inche lengths work?? thanks
