replacement roller

A handy person from Central Florida says:
I believe the 81-061 could be the correct replacement roller; could you advise?
My current roller: Adjuster is on top, mount hole on bottom. Center line between adjuster and mount hole is .60". Roller is 1.5". Body is .790" wide at the ribs, is 2.25" long and 1.38" high.

Thanks for posting.

I don't think the 81-061 would be the best match. Please take a look at our 81-038 and 81-046 Sliding Door Roller Assemblies and see if they would work better.

I agree; 81-038 appears to be better. Advantage/disadvantage steel vs nylon roller?

Mike from SWISCO responded:
It largely depends on preference. The metal wheel is obviously stronger than the nylon, and would last longer in normal circumstances. However, if you live close to the sea, the salt air can cause damage to metal wheels, so in that instance (and in other circumstances in which the weather is extreme) its preferable to use nylon.
