Hello,
Product code 23-240 bottom track looks exactly like my present track. however, the mid section of my track in the middle where the hole is for attaching with a nail, is larger than my current track. product code 23-240 measures 2 9/16 inches and my present bottom track measures 2 4/16 inches. Does the difference in the measurements prevent me from using product code 23-240 as my bottom track replacement? If so please identify the correct part.
Thanks,
Barbara

Hey, Barbara. The overall width doesn't matter so much. All that matters is that the two rails are the same distance apart and that your original wheels are convex. If those details match, then the 23-240 should still function the same.

Unless the current track is mounted in a recess between solid objects like tile, it won't make any difference. Carpet will adjust.

The current track is on carpet. The new track is to be used on hard wood floors. Does this make a difference in the installation process?
Thank you,

The 23-240 can work in either instance, so I think you should be okay.

This type of track actually works best on a hard surface.
