The overall length doesn't matter as much as the shape of the pivot bar and the distance between the mounting holes and the tip that fits into the pivot shoe. As long as one of those holes is aligned with your original pivot bar, you should be good to go.

There's a few possible pivot shoes that are compatible. To know which is the right match, you'll need to remove your pivot shoe from the window and measure the width and thickness of the shoe.
