screen corner keys for 1998 windows

A quick learner says:

how wide is the part that slides into the frames to hold the corner key in place? Also, the measurements I have are 1" by 1/4" with the key length of 3/32

I'm not sure what part of the corner you're referring to, exactly. Are you asking for the size of the leg? If so, it's 1/4" x 9/16".
