sliding door track cover question

A contractor from Philadelphia says:
I have a customer who's rail has gullys in it. One is almost a 1/2" long. Would the 80-103 cover support this valley or should I replace the track.?? Cheaper would be better but it needs to hold up. Mike

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
I have used these track covers with great success. One installer I know likes to fill the void in the existing track with epoxy for added support. I myself just install the cover. Also, check out the sliding door rollers. Broken or worn down rollers could be the cause of the track problems.
