spiral balance replacements for an OLD double hung non-tilt wood window.

A quick learner from 02837 says:
Have pulled these balances from an old window in a summer cottage. As shown in the photos, the diameter is 5/8" and the length of the tube is 24". Also, the window weighs about 9 pounds.

Can you recommend a spiral balance that I can use??

Hi Alan, 

Take a look at our S500-24 spiral balance with a red tip that will support a sash between 7-29 pounds. Also, see our 17-012 or 17-007 brackets if you need to replace those as well. Thank you!
