This is an old rod-type balance. These aren't made anymore, unfortunately, but the good news is that you can use a modern channel-type balance as a replacement.

I won't be able to make a recommendation based on the given photos, though. Do you have an undamaged version that I can review? I specifically need to see the top end, bottom end, pivot shoe, and the clip at the end of the cord. From there I can show you which of our balances can be used as a substitute.
