storm door spindle

A quick learner from Austin, Texas says:

Do you have a spindle that will accommodate a door that is 1 1/2" thick? All I have been able to find is for doors that are 3/4" to 1 1/4" thick. Thank you!

I believe the 40-038 should work on a 1-1/2" thick door. The normal spindle length for a 1" door is cut at 2-1/8" long, but the 40-038 is 2-7/8" long. If you want to confirm, though, I would like to see a picture of your original spindle so that we can identify the correct part. I would also like you to tell me your length measurement.
