striped gears on casment window cranks

A home owner from Langhorne says:
I have 3 certainteed casement windows, from the inside these windows are hinged on the left. The gears on the crank are striped. I've included a picture of the crank and the label from one of the windows. 1)Can you identify this part? 2) Can you tell me how much it costs? 3) Are there instructions that a homeowner can use to replace them?
Thanks, Fred

Hello Fred. Please take a look at our 39-253L and 39-253R. The pricing can be found on their respective store pages. The installation is fairly straight forward. You just disconnect the arms, unscrew the base, and pull it out. I am going to add a link to a video you may find useful. The operator featured is different, but the principle is more or less the same.
