I have vinyl windows that I had installed about 17-18 years ago. I have no records of type or installer. I could not find any indentifier on windows. I have two windows that do not stay up. The counter balance springs need repair or more likely replacemet. I cannot get them to stay connected to keep window up. Here is a picture of one of the them. Do you have replacements? Also, I believe there is a tensioning tool I would need to install replacements

Thank you for submitting your photo, Bernie.
However, we will need the following information in order to proceed:
Diameter of white tube casing.
Length of white tube casing.
Weight of window sash (remove window and place on scale).
The 75-006 Spiral Balance Charging Tool will be what you need in order to apply the correct tension to your window balances.

You need our S600-22 replacement balance. You have two strength options for the S600-22
S600-22 Red Tip will carry window sashes between 6 and 19 pounds.
S600-22 Blue Tip will carry window sashes between 10 and 29 pounds.

I'll order the blue tip since the old ones are blue. Do basic instructions come with balance or is there something on your website I can refer to?
