weather striping questions

A quick learner says:
I have some questions about weather striping and about the track covers.

I attached some pictures. Can you tell me if you think the cap in my estimate is the correct caps? Also how critical is it to change the gasket on the glass. I cannot take a cross section of it with out tearing the door apart. (which I am sure you know, and I know now too...lol) I hoping you can determine which gasket it may be. I do have a section of the slider door I can send a picture of if it helps?

I do not recommend trying to replace the gasket surrounding the glass in the door. Chances are it is no longer available, and the project is more of a headache than it's worth. From your photos, it looks like it's in good condition. As for the track cover I don't see where you could install weather stripping. Normally the weather stripping is attached to the bottom rail of the active door.
