It looks like you have ribbed channel balances, such as our Series 751. The Series 751 comes by default with the 15-014 Knife-Lock Shoe attached, but sometimes it uses our 15-197 instead. To know which your balances need, please remove from the window and show us. The stamp on the metal channel would also be useful to know. Many thanks.

Hey Gene. This looks like the 15-014 to me. While you might in theory be able to swap out the shoe, I think it would probably be a lot easier if you just replaced the balance. Again, this looks like a Series 751. Measure the metal channel length to determine the length needed, and then look for a stamp on the metal channel to determine the stamp option needed. If the stamp looks weird, obtain the exact weight of the window sash, then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each stamp option on the shop page.
