The window in your photo does not look familiar. Do you know the make of the window? Also, could you remove the part without breaking it and send us some photos of it by itself? Unfortunately, I'm not sure if we can supply a replacement, but seeing it out might help identify it, or at the very least determine if it is still available.

Yes I will try to take it apart. The windows were installed in the 80's I believe by a local aluminum screen/window installer. The company was Schaffer Aluminum in Clermont or Groveland Florida. I don't think they are in business any longer. The windows have a clear vinyl plastic in place of screening.

Thank you for your continued patience. I'm afraid we haven't been able to find an exact match for this latch. In our experience, hard-to-find internal latches like this can be substituted with a surface mount tilt latch. These are different from what you have in that they just screw on. We have a video tutorial that shows how we do this. We find it to be an easier solution for sashes like yours. Let me know what you think!
