Wooden Window Balances

A home owner from Maine says:
These are in the channel to make the single hung wooden windows to go up and down. We used WD-40 to loosen them up last year, but we think they might need to be replaced to allow the windows to move more smoothly.

Thanks,
Amy

We don't have an exact match for this balance, but you may be able to use our Series 500 spiral balance along with a bracket like our 17-007 or 17-012. We have used this combination to repair wood windows like yours for decades. See what you think.
