works for me, though deinstallation of old and installation of new was tricky

Quick Learner from San Diego
I have a slot in my metal window sill (not wood) where the operator has to be slipped. It was difficult getting the old rusted operator loose from the clips in the window, since the bars of the operator are really bent when attached. I used three screwdrivers. Further, finding a configuration where the old operator would come back thru the window frame slot was tricky. I thought for a while that I'd have to cut the bars, or remove a rivet. But, in the end, everything fell into place and it works fine. Thanks for having these replacements.
