I recall another customer inquiring about the same type of replacement mortise. You can view that discussion here. It was mentioned to take a look at our 42-009 and see if this could be used in place of the original part. Review the specifications and see what you think. Thank you!

I would like to purchase a replacement lock but before I do I would like to know whether 42-009 mortise lock matches Sargent 5164 mortise lock sizes?!
It doesn't say on the tread

The 42-009 would be our best match for the Sargent 5164 assembly shown in this thread but it is important to compare your dimensions to the ones shown on our product page to confirm if it will work for your repair.
