WOCD for PGT SH5500

Can SWISSCO 26-387 be installed on a PGT SH5500 with constant for balances? The top of balance's clip is 3.5 inches above closed sash. SWISSCO video shows 26-387 installed at height of 3 11/16. Attached Photo shows balance at bottom arrow and its attached clip at top arrow.

Hello,

The rear mounting plate used to install the 26-387 is fairly thin, so I believe there would be some play between the balance shoe and the plate. You would also need to confirm that you have space on the face of the window to install the vent latch as shown in the video below. What are the dimensions of 26-387 latch and back plate? The face of window is not flat - has a contoured recessed edge of 1/4 inch.

The screw post that would install inside the window jamb measures 5/16" wide, 1-3/8" long, and 3/8" thick. We'll also include a few of the images from our product page below.
