1970 window openers

A home owner from Ocala, Fl says:
Original to 1970 house I believe. Crank handle is loose inside unit and will not screw back in, just loose. Windows don't open.

Without seeing the operator out of the window with the hole pattern on the top and bottom tabs clearly displayed, I am afraid I can't say what you need. It might be the 39-054, but you'll need to compare the dimensions to confirm.

A home owner from Olympia, WA says:
Need to replace center crank arm on @1970 kitchen garden window that lifts open at the top. 9 1/2" h from bolt to top of window frame. What do you recommend? Alternatively, could mount something that holds a window open. What are your ideas?

Unfortunately, we don't sell replacement hardware for these old garden windows. I don't believe they're even made anymore. Your best bet is a local hardware store that might service homes in the area. It's not a guarantee but they may have older parts in stock you can use. Note that I'm not talking about big box stores, but more like a local mom and pop establishment.
