My sons new house was built in 1993. Many of the windows have non-functional balancers. Based on the descriptions I've gotten from your website, I believe these to be Series 380. When I measure the metal channel, it's just under 29". Can you confirm that I'll be ordering the correct balances? Thank you very much.

I have a follow up question. I found a window that has neither of the balancers so I have nothing to measure. The sash is an aluminum frame, double pane (sealed), double hung sash roughly 42" wide by 35" tall. Can you please recommend the balancer length? All of the balancers I've measured appear to be series 380 (1" "tall" lower end). Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out! It appears the balances in the first set of photos are a custom assembly. The depth of the shoe looks like it could be 7/8", which would be the 15-029. If so, this will need to be a custom made assembly. Can you please double check and confirm this measurement, written out?

In regard to the window with the missing balances, I'll need to know the height of the visible glass pane in the window; only the glass you can see.

I'll also need to see a photo of the pulley system installed at the center of the balance. This is where the string and the spring meet in the middle of the balance.

Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Correct, the shoe height is 7/8". How do we order those? What is the approx. cost per balance?

Attached is a picture of the middle pulley.

The large window without balancers has internal mullions. The inside dimensions of the aluminum frame is 40"wide x 34-1/8 high. The inside dimensions of the sealed glass (clear glass that is visible) is 38-7/8" wide x 33" high. That window weighs 24lbs.

Thanks for confirming this information and for providing the photo, I am happy to get the order link made up for you. I'll just need to know the exact number of balances, per stamp, you intend to purchase. There is an order minimum of (2) balances per custom assembly.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
