I purchased some closet door guides 23-207 and installed a couple on the bottom of my closet door but the problem is the new guides are shorter than the original ones and don

It looks like you might have an earlier version of the 23-207. This actually isn't available anymore, and I have not been able to find it with any supplier. You may need to reinstall it at a lower position on the door. I am sorry we cannot offer a better solution.
