3/4 Certainteed Coil Springs (Short/Longue Tongue unknown & Lbs unknown

Question

I need two Certainteed Coil Springs but the part number broke off a long time ago so when coils were taken out that part of coil that would let you know short/long LBS is gone. The existing parts are Balance Spring Cover 81680/90 and roller drum 86170. The windows are approximately 20-23 years old.

When the window opens it drops immediately and it feels like a lot of weight. (Is that the part the coil spring handles as it's definitely 9 lbs or more. The existing coil is silver-colored not copper. ???

Thank you for reaching out to us. It looks like you may have the 15-192 shoe. Since the stamps are gone, you would have to weigh the window sash and divide the weight by the total number of springs in the window. If you'd like, get back to us with the precise sash weight and we can calculate it from there.
