there seems to be a galvanized or stainless option for the housing. I am specifically interested in the stainless steel roller... Or if the axle hole will receive a 1/4" axle. Mine has SS housing, only the rollers failed.

I'm afraid that I don't recognize your roller from this photo. I don't think it's our 81-244, though, since yours lacks the flange on the bottom. Could you need something more like our 81-098?

You could potentially just replace the wheel with something like our 81-241, but Pella hardware is very tricky. They tend to specifically make their hardware in such a way that you cannot repair them like what you have in mind. You can try, but I'm not optimistic. Sorry that we can't offer anything better! That's just how Pella does things.
