Balance Spring for Window

I am hoping you can tell me what type of balance spring I need for this window. I also attached a pic of the latch that was broken.

Please review the 15-102 double side load carrier along with the Series 145 coil spring. Compare the dimensions to confirm a good fit! The original spring should have a number stamped into the metal that indicates the weighted option needed to support the sash.

For the lock, compare the dimensions of the 90-252 latch that uses the 90-253 cover. Let us know what you think and if you have any additional questions!

Thank you so much Lauren. Do I need to buy 1 of the double side load carrier or 2 (one for each side). The window had 1. I didn't see a number on the metal but I weighed it and it was 6lbs.

Hello,

The window should have one on each side with a coil spring. For a 6 pound window, you can use (1) S145-3 coil spring on each side of the window which fits into the 15-102 support. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
