28 3 Channel Balance

Question

Hello,

Attached are photos of a channel balance that I have to replace (both sides of window). The length of the channel portion is 29".

The stamp '28 3 JO Caldwell' is displayed on the channel. The window weight is approximately 20lbs.

After reading some previous posts, I noticed that a take out clip was mentioned. I believe that this was lost from my window frame. Does this normally come with the channel balance?

Thanks for reaching out to us, Rick! Before I make my recommendation for the balance, can you show us a photo of the inside of the metal channel where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism?

As for the take out clip, see the 16-002 which is sold separately from the balances. If there's an identical window in the house, you can check to see if that has an intact take out clip as a reference.
