Channel Balance and Top Sash Guide

A quick learner from St. Louis says:
I have a non tilt window, attached are pics of the channel balance and top sash guide I need to replace. The metal on the channel is 23 inches long, 5/8 depth, and 1/2 inch wide. 22 D is stamped on it. The top sash guide is 7/8 inch wide at the top

Thanks for posting. Your top sash guide looks like a broken version of our 18-159P. Look it over and tell me if you agree.

I'm not sure about the balance. You're only showing the bottom fitting, so I can't confirm the Series. Can you also show me the top nylon fitting? I'd also like to know the depth of the bottom fitting I mentioned. This would be the "heel to toe" measurement, assuming the balance is standing straight up like how it is while installed. Please be as precise as possible.

A landlord from OFallon IL says:
I have the same top sash pictured above and it is not the 18-159P. Same configuration on the top half, but does mot include the bottom half. It is a left right pair. If you do not have the identicsl part, can I still use 18-159P? Cut off lower half?

Thanks for this photo. I see now that our 18-159P will not work, thank you for confirming. We may be able to supply this smaller version but I need a bit more time to track it down. I will let you know the moment I have more information.

A landlord from OFallon IL says:
Additional info. My part has identical dimensions to the upper half of 18-159, except for small tabs on the flat backside. I had to also cut those off to get it to slide into to window frame.

Thanks! We actually found a good match for this and are working on adding it to our site. Please give us a little time to have stock made up and I'll let you know as soon as it's available.

A landlord from OFallon IL says:
Tom, have you received the "good match" part in stock yet. When are you expecting it? Thanks.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

We have not yet, unfortunately. It usually takes several weeks for stock like this to be made up. I promise that you will be notified the very moment we have it available for you to view.
