Ducana window fittings

Home Owner from Edinburgh
The d/g units date from 1984 and the seals are still good. But the plastic fitments on both sides have degraded, split, broken over the years. They might have been intended as a feeble lock but there is a central aluminium catch to secure the upper & lower sashes.
The units have been in since the house was built (Edinburgh) & will eventually need to be upgraded but short term looking for spares please ?

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need you to write out the exact distance between the center of the installation holes for your latches to narrow down your replacement options. Thank you!

Hi & thanks. Screw hole distance is 58mm or approx2.25 inches. The fittings should allow the window to disengage from the channel & swing back inward to allow cleaning of upstairs windows. Better photo below. The screw in the central slot was added by previous owner as a security precaution.

Unforutnately, we do not carry a replacement latch with 2-1/4" hole spacing but we do offer similar options, such as the 26-078 and 26-188W, with 2-5/16" installation holes. Review the specifications below to determine if one of them could work for your repair.
