Loewen Sash Clip

A quick learner from Paso Robles, California says:
The clip on the lower sash is worn and I would like to buy replacement parts. The clip will not engage with the sprung assembly, and the windows are difficult to raise with only one spring working.

Hello, thank you for posting!

To move forward we will need to see the clip removed from the window sash. To identify new springs, we will need to see them removed from the window channel and the pivot shoe they attach to. Please let me know if you have any questions.

A quick learner from Paso Robles, California says:
Hello Lauren,

Thank you for your response. I do not believe I need new springs. I think the problem is that the clips on the window sash are not engaging the spring mechanism. I think this is because of how worn they are. One side will still engage the spring. That is the less worn side (left-hand side looking out).

I have removed and photographed clips from both sides of the window.

We have nine windows. Several of them have the same issue, but this is the only one I have investigated closely.

Best regards,
Elliott

Thank you for the additional pictures.

Based on the style, the closest we carry is our 26-150 pivot bars, but there are some design differences. Take a look at the specifications and dimensions on our product page to see if this could work for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
