Milgard window shoe

Handy Person from Morgam Hill,Ca 95037

I can't seem to locate the shoe I have off a Milguard window I will attached a photo with measurment.

The number on the balancer is 26 2 DW CMC 10. I do need two of all these components.

I hope I have given you a good description of what I need.

Thanks

Gary

Hello Gary. For the channel balance, I believe you need either our S380-27 or S385-27. The difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, so compare btoh with your old hardware to see what matches best. For a new stamp option you will use 2620.

For the Top Sash Guide, we've seen this type before and I am afraid we don't have an exact match. Look at the ones I've listed on this page and see if any dimensions that match your old one. I think the 18-009 might be the best bet, but I cannot make any guarantees.

Morning Bob,

Well I'm not having much luck identifying the two ends so here are more photos. It's definitely a 27" Balancer. Well just send me what you think is my best shot at repairing this Milguard window. By the way this time when I pulled them off the cable broke. SO I need something to replace it with. You the Man!

Thanks Bob

To help, I've put together a diagram for you. The image below demonstrates the different in depth. For the Series 380, the depth is 1"; for the Series 385, the depth is 1-3/32". Compare both to determine what you need.

Morning Bob,

I'M taking the 15-004 which is 1-3/32. 2 of those and I believe I'm good to go.

Thanks for your help!

Great, it sounds like you need our S385-27 then. Note that the nylon fittings come attached to this balance, and its ready to install out of the box. Let us know if you have any other questions.
