Old drawer rollers

A quick learner from St. Louis, MO says:

I have an old metal cabinet with roller bearings in the drawer slides. The plastic or nylon wheel broke. It appears to be a rivet axle style so that it fits flush against the cabinet wall.

Can you supply the proper bearing and rivet attachment?

Thank you!

Dan

Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, we do not sell this wheel. The best option we have is the 32-039, but it would take an extensive retrofit to install it. It would require cutting off the old bearing and drilling out a hole for the 32-039 to snap into.

Being quite honest, it might not be worth it but you will have to use your discernment. Take a look and see what you think.

Thanks for your response.
Do you know where I can get this wheel?
I'm not opposed to retrofitting if I have no other choice. What size hole is required for the 32-039?

Jasmine from SWISCO responded:

The diameter hole needed for the 32-039 is just under 5/16". It looks like 9/32" diameter hole will make a tight fit and when you use the nylon axle it will lock it in place.

If you don't believe this will work, take a look at the track kits, like the 32-061, these come in various lengths
