Older sliding glass door, looking for key lock

A handy person from Arlington, TX says:

Good morning,

I am looking for a way to add a secure external key lock to the older door in the attached photos. Do you have parts that will accomplish this, or a kit I can install?

Modification of the door will not be a problem, if necessary. Unfortunately there is no manufacturer (or any other) information written anywhere on the door.

Kind regards,

Jason

Hey, Jason. This is definitely an older door, but you may be able to get our 82-008K to work. This comes with a key lock in the exterior side handle. Look it over and let me know if you agree.

If you just wanted a key lock, see our 82-302. I'm not as confident this will work, but it's definitely an option to consider.
