Recently received my sliding glass door latch...

    I recently received my sliding glass door latch (82-217A) and it worked fine. It was not "exactly" the same but the modifications were minimal. I appreciate that there is a business such as yours that stocks these items. Locally all I could find were new handles that would have required treating the door as a initial installation.
    I keep telling people that the internet is just a fad (like cell phones and computers) but it does come in handy when my "service-oriented" local suppliers lose interest as soon as they can't find the part hanging on a hook in heavy duty plastic wrapping.
