Replacement Channel Balance

Question

My current channel balance is 37" long (metal to metal), and has the 19-005 top guide and the 15-005 bottom shoe. The back of the channel is stamped with "36  4". Which series of your guides would replace this ?

Are the differences between the various Series of balances (350, 351, 370, 371, 377, 380, etc.)just the top and bottom guide and shoe, and the balances themselves are all the same ?

The corresponding balance series that matches the guides 19-005 and 15-005 is the Series 380. The "36 4" normally translates to 3640, which will carry a window sash weight of 23 to 30 lbs. Click here to fill out a form to order a S380-37 with stamp 3640.

Please note, this information is based on two (2) balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming that friction in the jamb weatherstripping will carry a portion of the sash weight. All suggested sash weights are approximate.
