Replacement Window Balance/Coil

A quick learner from Charlotte North Carolina says:
My vinyl replacement windows are probably 20 years old but by in large in good shape. I have noticed that when cleaning several of the balance/coil parts have started to break. The metal cylinder component part has broke and the window pin doesn't stay in. I have looked at many sites and can't figure out how to get an equivalent replacement. I need 6-8 to completely refresh all of my windows. As you know the windows still will work without a balance/coil on one side but when you open is when you need it. Can you help me find a replacement? If you so you are my hero!!!

Notice in pic #2 I tried to show you that the weight classification is a "C". I weighed one window sash and it is about 10.5 lbs. Thanks

Hello,

It looks like the cams in your pivot shoe are breaking, which happens when they get old and brittle. Your pivot shoe isn't made anymore but the 15-177 can replace it with no adaptation

If your coil springs are still in good condition they can be reused. If not, you would use two S152-5 coils on each side to support a 10-1/2" pound window sash. Thanks for posting!
