SeasonShield Casement Window hardware

A quick learner from Sarasota says:
The problem I am having with my SeasonShield casement windows is the handle does not stay in the base. Once I can turn the handle, the mechanical parts work fine.
I have 8700 SeasonShield Casement Windows 335.5 x 71.5" purchased in 2/2006
I am Ok with replacing the complete opener as long as I can also get a handle.
I have 6 windows.

Hello,

Since the spline that the handle installs on broke off of the base, unfortunately, you'll need to replace the operator. Take a look and compare our 39-341 to your assembly, which uses the 39-232 handle. Thanks for posting!
