Simonton 5500 series window parts

A quick learner from Pennsylvania says:
looking for replacement pivot shoe and coil spring did not see any numbers on coil spring. hope you can help me out. thanks

Hello! I believe that I can help you out, yes. I recommend our 15-192 pivot shoe and Series 170 coil spring. Without a number on your old spring, you'll have to weigh your sash and then divide it by 2, which is the number of springs that are holding it up. So, for example, if your sash is 12 pounds, then you want two S170-6 springs.

One thing to note about the shoe is that this is a Certainteed brand part, not Simonton. Simonton actually discontinued your shoe and no longer make it. The Certainteed brand 15-192 works the same way but you may need to reuse your center metal cam. Make sure to hold onto it just in case!
