Hi Folks,
I am looking to replace the latch on several of my tilt window. I first went to Home Depot and purchased their latches which measure 2 7/8" x 3/4". They are a bit too long and bit too wide.
Please see my attached photos. I am guessing I want parts 26-419 and 26-420. Do you agree? Or is there a different pair I should get?

Hi there, Nora.
Sure, the latches you picked out are an option but so are the 26-243 and 26-244. The best match will ultimately depend on the dimensions. I recommend you remove your old tilt latch from the window and compare your dimensions to the ones on our parts' store pages to see how they match up.

Thanks for your prompt response. I see that there is a slight difference in the measurement on the "under side" of the latch. I'm a little concerned that when I remove the latch it is likely to crack.
So?.let me ask this - if I were to buy both products in the hopes that one will work, wwould I be able to return the part that doesn't work?
