Tilt window shoe

Question

I have a window with a broken tilt shoe. The unit is connected to a spiral balance. The shoe appears to be broken. I was looking at the 15-188 as a replacement. It looks closer than anything else I saw. Thw balance measures 17 inches and 5/8 diameter and has a blue tip. Recommendation.

The 15-188 indeed looks like your old shoe. However, we carry another similar-looking shoe, the 15-178 which is 17/32" thick. It's tough to get accurate dimensions when the hardware is installed so you'll have to remove it and compare the dimensions to see which one matches up best.
