Window came like this with the house

I don't know anything about how this system is supposed to work. The window was like this when I bought the house and I've tried to find the manufacturer and they seem to no longer around. Hoping to make it so the window holds itself open again.

Hello,

The parts shown in your photos resemble the 18-008 top sash guide and 16-002 take-out clip. Take a look and compare the dimensions below to confirm they match up to yours.

As for the missing support balances, the hardware in your window is used with channel balances but we can't determine the correct replacements without seeing the originals. Is there an identical window in the house with intact balances that you could remove to show us? If so, we'd also need to know the exact weight of the sash in the window with missing balances, as well as the exact height of the visible glass. Thank you!
