Window channel balance and pivot shoe

A contractor from Charlotte, NC says:
Good afternoon,

I have a 29" and a 25" channel balance that matches the description of your 770 series channel balance. I was hoping that someone could help me with the weight requirement for the window sash by going off of the stamped numbers. Also need the correct part number for the window shoe because I'm pretty sure it disintegrated as I was removing the channel balances from each window.

The 29" one reads: 2900 BSI LE
The 25" one reads: 2500 BSI LG

Thank you.

I agree, our Series 770 looks like a great match. Your stamps are a little peculiar, though, and not like how these balances are usually rated. I think you're going to have to remove your sash from the frame and place it on a scale to get the weight. We have a chart on both the S770-29 and S770-25 store page that tells you how much weight each option can support.

Should any of our options be inadequate to support your sash weight, let me know and we can do our best to find another way.

A contractor from Charlotte, NC says:
Just left the customers house. The weight of the sash on the 25" was 15.4lbs
The 29" one was 12.8lbs

Can you recommend me the proper shoe? Just in case one is broken I'd like to order a couple of them as well.

Thanks! So, for two 25" balances supporting 15.4 pounds, I recommend the 25B option. For two 29" balances supporting 21.8 pounds, I recommend the 29B option. You can cross-reference these weights on each balance's store page, as I mentioned.

That shoe looks like our 15-129. I'm confident that this is what you want but you may want to look over our dimensions just to be 100% sure.
