The width of each piece is 15/16", the total length is 6-15/16", and the total thickness of the pieces back-to-back is 1-1/4". I hope these measurements help.

What are the dimensions of the door cutout for this product?
I am attaching an image of the broken door handle and am wondering if this is a match. The opening on my door is 7 inches.

I agree, the 82-001 looks like a great match and its dimensions appear to match. It is also the only kind of lock made in this style with a push button.
