Replacement window crank

A handy person from Sarasota, FL says:
Need replacement for this window crank assembly. Tried one that looks similar, but the lever arm does not have the same offset as this one.

Stamped on the inside of the cover are:
PAT. NO. 198202 U.S.
R.H.R.D. 1963 CAN.

On the back near the bottom mounting holes is stamped the letter B.

No other numbers or markings are visible.

Hello,

I'm not sure which part you already tried but your crank resembles the 39-259 at first glance. Review the dimensions below to see how they compare to your assembly. The installation hole spacing and diameter of the hole at the end of the link arm are especially important details. Thank you!

I checked all the dimensions our unit and all match the 39-259 with the lone exception of the distance between the hole and the pin on the link arm. The drawing shows 2 1/2" and my unit measures 2 5/8". Is this 1/8" difference going to prevent the 39-259 from working? Is there another model with this dimension at 2 5/8"?

There is generally some wiggle room with the arm length since the gears have a good amount of play to compensate for the difference. As long as the rest of the dimensions match yours, the 39-259 would be our best replacement option. I don't see the arm length being an issue but if you decide to give it a try and run into any issues, our return policy can be found here
