Please help identify the window balance (the whole assembly)
The length of the metal housing is 29 7/8"
The marking on the metal housing is "29-5 HA2 CMC 7"

Thank you!

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. With winged top and bottom fittings like this, the Series 380 and Series 385 came to mind. The Series 380 has a 1" deep bottom fitting and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep bottom fitting.

We don't have a balance with a 15/16" deep bottom fitting though. I wonder if yours has just worn down over time from use and was once 1".

As for the length, the metal channel should measure 30". We can only supply balances that measure on the full inch, unfortunately.

A quick learner from South West Florida says:
Hi Emily, Thank you so much for identifying the balance!
I would go ahead with S380.
The only question I have is the Sash Weight Range.
Please take a look at the attached picture.
It says 29-5 HA2 CMC 7
Does it mean I have to choose 2950 (28 to 32 lbs)?

Emily from SWISCO responded:

Yes, that's correct! You'd want to go with the 2950 option since your balance has a 29-5 stamp.

I'm afraid we can't guarantee the 30" length will be a direct fit for your old channel length but our return policy can be found here just in case.
