repair of spiral balances

Sir, I have spiral balancers on my tilt in windows, two to each side. The window would not stay up. All I found was the plastic insert at the top of the inner spring/tube, the one the anchor screw goes through, the hole had broken out. Do you sell just that part individually?

How do you remove the pivot shoe? I don't have an area in my slide that is wide enough to remove it

My balancers are 34 7/8 x 3/8 with a yellow tip

Thank you in advance for your help

Hello, thank you for posting,

The plastic insert at the top of the balance is not replaceable by itself, you will need a new balance. Please review the S900-35 spiral balance with a 3/8" diameter.

For the pivot shoe, if there is no visible way to remove the shoe, take a look at the cutout method below for removal. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
