Hi,
I just purchased a condo that's 16 years old. It was a rental and almost every window has channel balance issues. I'd like to start with one small window in the laundry room to see if I'm up to the job. These are PGT windows and the laundry room window channel balance is stamped "17 2." Measuring the device by your instructions, it is 18" long (metal tip to metal tip) and LOOKS like the 395 model. When faced with the various options, I am clueless! By my best guess, the top (19-005) and shoe (15-001) are closest to what I have now. I also need takeout clips (16-002?). Please help/confirm and I'll get started immediately.
