Hello,

I would recommend starting by reviewing our 36-048 hinge set with a 10" base that attaches to the window sill. These come with two hinges to replace the top and bottom.

As for your operator, we would need to see the arms that attach to the window sash, which appear to be missing from the assembly shown in your photo. Is there another window in the house that uses the same hardware that you could open and show us? We would also need to see the original lock assembly removed from the window to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

Hi Casey?.this is the operator which the arm is broken off that attach's to hinge.
I opened another window that seems to have been replaced the operator & hinge?..it is marked "TRUTH".
Will follow up with them ?I agree on the 10" u recommended??.
Would like to try & call in to discuss then order.
Also need the hook mechanism on window that pulls in window to lock.

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, we can't be sure since your operator's arm is broken but we've related a few options with the same face-mounted installation holes for you to review. Take a look and compare the arm lengths and specifications from our product pages to an undamaged version of your operator.

I would also recommend removing your sash lock to compare to the 38-036 shown below. We do not have direct phone lines but you are welcome to give our customer service team a call at (888) 991-1929 for assistance with placing your order.

Hi Case I agree about the 10" hinge & its pair for top?.this operator is on another window in complex?.it's the truth brand one?it fits & works perfectly. The hinge pic I sent is just to show you that different from original the part is screwed in by 2 screws up flat horzontally & the operator arm is slide in first on end then it is pushed up against & screwed in.

I see in the list of operators that simply anchor insid sash by 4 screws & arm simply is thru opening attached to slider on window. Doi need the length of that TRUTH ONE arm so we can match with your recommended hinge of 10".

Thanks again Jim..if you could email me today on this would be grateful. Will then call customer service & order

I'm glad that you were able to locate an intact operator. Now, you'll need to measure the length of the arm that attaches to the window sash to compare to the options we've related on this page. You cal also find all of our dimensions listed on our product pages to compare to your assembly.

Also, keep in mind that the hinge is a separate part that does not correspond to the type of operator that the window uses.

Casey?the operator arm is 9 1/2 inches?.the window attached bracket that is on window & it sliced in is 13 1/2 long?..
The sill hinge 10" like you said it's window side is 7 1/2 inches long?.that has its connection rod to sill piece is 5" that has tha disconnect at stationery sill hinge piece.

If the arm measures 9-1/2" long, I would recommend starting by comparing the specifications of the 39-138 and 39-139 operators to yours. These are commonly used with the 39-504 track, which resembles the part shown in your photos.

Hi Casey?.orederec all the other parts already?..I know u recommended rear mount sash lock 38-036?..the pic I just sent is the actual one that was in there small piece of plastic gone top of pivot but the rest is there to see. My question is the shape difference and it doesn't extend that far when closed. From hinge pivot is 7/8" close.would your sash lock match up since the shape is different?.tks Jim the mounting holes are the same tho 2 1/2" on center..please let me know if possible asap.
Almost done?.Amen

I'm not quite sure which shape difference you're referring to. I can't get a good view in your photos but it looks like the backing may be rounded like the 38-036. This would be important depending on the shape of the cutout where the lock installs. In either case, it looks like this would be our best replacement option for your lock assembly. If you decide to give it a try and run into any problems, our return policy can be found here
