My PGT triple slider has weep holes that are completely open to the outside that we believe are allowing pests to enter the home.

Hello,

We often recommend the 26-186 in cases where the original cover is missing or no longer available, which could work as long as you can drill new holes on either side of the cutout for the installation pegs. Just be careful and make sure not to hit the glass in the door. Thanks for posting!

My weep holes are in the track rather than the door. Is this unusual to be in the track?

Weep holes in the track or threshold of the door are not unheard of but keep in mind that our weep hole covers are intended to be used on windows. I also can't be sure if installing a weephole cover may impact the function of the door since the pegs could protrude on the other side. We can't make any guarantees but I can confirm that the 26-186 would be our best option. If you decide to give it a try and run into any problems, our return policy can be found here
